New Online Course: How To Get Certified In Pilates. PILATES FOR PHYSICAL THERAPIST…

Hey guys, what's up? It's Stephen Dunn with CORE Therapy and Pilates, I'm the founder of Pilates for PT's. Last week I started talking about Pilates and certifications and got a big response about my pyramid scheme. 

I just want to talk a little bit more about the whole process of the certification and how I can help someone get certified. What I was talking about last week was not really trying to get anyone to do a certification with me, it was just trying to get people to think…

We do offer a Pilates Teacher Training program to prepare for certification, but it's local. If you live in Austin, Texas or live close enough to travel to me, we can get you certified in Pilates at my studio.

What I'm looking at is to try to help people all over the country, who live anywhere in a way that they can get certified in Pilates and create a program like we have created here. I have a little package, a program, it's an online program that will walk you through the process to get certified. I did this with Andy who was living in New York City at the time and this is what led me to create this course.

Andy was living in New York City, was asking lots of questions about Pilates for a blog that he was doing. Through that process of him asking me questions about the blog, the research he was doing for Pilates it spiked his interest in Pilates. Before you know it we're having conversations about how he gets certified.

He found the place in New York City, he found several places and I was able to help guide him based on the information he was getting from each certifying place. I was able to help guide him and mentor him through the process of getting certified from afar. Then after some time he finished his certification and now he’s moved to Texas and is working with me.

It’s a scenario where there are ways many ways to get certified wherever you're at... locally. You might need to do some travel if you're living in a pretty rural area or small town but depending on where you're at will depend on a lot of that. Again, that's something that I’m looking to help people go through that process and understand.

If you’re interested in getting certified in Pilates, it is a way to create massive revenue on the side. It's a huge part of my business. 

Half of my business comes from my Pilates programs and trainers teaching. It's two PT's and we have about six Pilates instructors and half of our income comes from the Pilates side of our business and that's around $300,000 a year at this point.
